Kertas kerja pemeriksaan merupakan suatu media yang dipakai oleh auditor untuk mendokumentasikan hasil pengauditanya. Kertas kerja hendaknya dibuat secara lengkap. informasi yang tertuang dalam kertas kerja membuktikan bahwa auditor telah melakukan pemeriksaan sesuai dengan prosedur yang berlaku dan standar audit yang telah ditetapkan oleh ikatan Akuntan Indonesia. Kertas kerja yang baik hendaknya berisi prosedur audit yang dilakukan oleh auditor. Prosedur audit ini biasanya disimbulkan dalam bentuk tickmark audit. Temuan-temuan audit yang ditemukan juga akan dituangkan dalam kertas kerja ini sebagai bukti untuk memberikan rekomendasi perbaikan yang perlu dilakukan. Misalnya ditemukan adanya kelemahan pengendalian internal di dalam entitas perusahaan klien. Kertas kerja juga berisi penyesuaian-penyesuaian audit yang diusulkan oleh auditor (jika ada) dan simpulan pemeriksaan. Buku pengauditan terapan, kasus dan kertas kerja ini memberikan gambaran praktik pengauditan secara menyeluruh. Uraian dalam buku ini meliputi gambaran tugas yang dilaksanakan auditor saat melakukan pengauditan. Diawali dari perencanaan audit, penilaian pengendalian internal, penyusunan program audit, pelaksanaan pemeriksaan dan ditutup dengan menyusun laporan auditor. Laporan auditor berisi opini auditor, laporan keuangan yang telah diaudit serta penjelasan atas laporan keuangan.

Business Intelligence Strategy and Big Data Analytics is written for business leaders, managers, and analysts - people who are involved with advancing the use of BI at their companies or who need to better understand what BI is and how it can be used to improve profitability. It is written from a general management perspective, and it draws on observations at 12 companies whose annual revenues range between $500 million and $20 billion. Over the past 15 years, my company has formulated vendor-neutral business-focused BI strategies and program execution plans in collaboration with manufacturers, distributors, retailers, logistics companies, insurers, investment companies, credit unions, and utilities, among others. To large organizations, business intelligence (BI) promises the capability of collecting and analyzing internal and external data to generate knowledge and value, thus providing decision support at the strategic, tactical, and operational levels. BI is now impacted by the “Big Data” phenomena and the evolution of society and users. In particular, BI applications must cope with additional heterogeneous (often Web-based) sources, e.g., from social networks, blogs, competitors’, suppliers’, or distributors’ data, governmental or NGO-based analysis and papers, or from research publications. In addition, they must be able to provide their results also on mobile devices, taking into account location-based or time-based environmental data.
